Oh, the kiss wasn’t scripted, I didn’t know I was going to do it. I just thought, ‘I just missed my girlfriend’s valedictorian speech. How am I going to make it up to her?’ Then I was thinking, ‘I’m graduating. I don’t really give a fuck about this place, and fuck all of the people. So I’m going to go in and have fun. And embarrass her!’ -Andrew Garfield
see this is bullshit this is not spider-man this isnt the character the movie is based on god fucking damn it
The second scene of the movie its so right in tone to a perfect Spider-Man movie. It’s fun, cheesy, almost childish. THEY NAILED IT. The effects are spot-on. I dislike Andrew Garfield but he’s perfect in the role and he even fuckin looks like Dan Ditko Peter Parker. Emma Stone is fucking awesome too and the effects are great and the action scenes are well edited.
And everything else is 100% bullshit. This plot is bullshit, this rebooted franchise is bullshit, the concepts are all wrong and everything’s so goddamned stupid.
UGH THIS IS HARDER TO WATCH THAN THE FIRST ONE
James DeHann acted for the first and last time of his life on the movie “Chronicle”. He can’t act for shit.
when beats happen in a scattered, interesting manner throughout the movie. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes spends its first two acts without one single action scene while the entire third act is action, for instance…
Really fucking fun, great visuals, great characters, amazing soundtrack. The plot is nothing special - typical “heroes save the day” stuff, predictable as all hell.
Nice handling of tone, best use of humor on a Marvel movie except for The Avengers. It was funny, but not annoying like Thor 2.
People seem to be exaggerating their impressions by comparing it to Star Wars. It doesnt take itself as nearly as serious as Star Wars did. This is much more similar to 2009’s Star Trek, but again, with less inventive plot.
Still better than Into Darkness cause at least the plot made some sense.
